What is Train to Gain?
Train to Gain is free government funded training aimed at businesses who wish to improve their productivity and competitiveness by ensuring that their staff have the right skills to do the best job.
The programme is for those people who are already employed and are 19 years old or over and is focused on the delivery of the NVQ qualifications at level 2.

Train to Gain is an excellent opportunity for Employers to support their staff in acquiring the skills the business needs to be efficient and productive. Crown College will support the employer in identifying the appropriate NVQ training by completing a skills scan with the employer to identify the skills required and with the employee to identify training needs; this can include support training for literacy and numeracy. An individual NVQ training plan will be created to meet the skills needs of the business and that of the employee.
It has been identified that employers that invest in continuing training and development of employees improves productivity and retention as staff are more confident and feel valued.
